How do I make a field required, or not required? (i.e. requiring the customers email address)
To make a field on the Shipping/Billing page required or not required you would:- Login to the Cart Admin.
- Go to "Cart Settings".
- Go to step #6, "Shipping Options".
- Click on "Customize Shipping/Billing Page".
- Set the input fields as "Hidden", "Optional", or "Required" according to your preference.
- Save.
Note: This will change the requirements of the shopping cart. However, your payment processor may still require some of the information to process your orders. |
